About

pam

I am a counsellor/coach with over 10 years of experience. By using different modalities, such as ACT Therapy, and working closely with each client, my aim is to seek understanding of their needs and to help them towards a more meaningful life.

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent twenty years as a School Business Manager. The part of that role I loved most was mentoring and supporting staff. By actively listening and paying attention to their growth, I helped them build confidence and move towards reaching their potential. I was also mindful to support them in developing a more healthy work-life balance.

Through my work with CLS Counselling Services, I’ve been able to help individuals and couples navigate challenges through an EAP service. I often support couples in building stronger, more connected relationships using acceptance, shared values, and effective communication. In recent years, I’ve also worked closely with many neurodivergent clients, helping them thrive in workplaces that don’t always understand or accommodate their needs.

I’m genuinely passionate about the work I do. Alongside counselling, I’ve combined this passion with my love of writing to create a reflective poetry journal, “The Space Between”.  I believe that poetry can offer a gentle way for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and emotions — making space for deeper understanding of their behaviours, perceptions, and beliefs.
